Playing piano. Why?

Through music, we can express our feelings and emotions that can’t be expressed in any other way. A music education is one of the most rewarding gifts you can give to your child.  Learning music not only teaches the notes on the page – it can be a source of lifelong joy and satisfaction.

Through music education pupils develop intelligence, memory, concentration, coordination, self-discipline and self-esteem, all which is documented by a number of scientific studies.

Playing music is a unique way for children to improve essential life skills, such as organizational skills and time management, patience, perseverance, responsibility, discipline, analytical understanding, critical thinking and problem solving.

When a child’s musical training continues and extends to playing in groups it gives a great opportunity to enhance peer interaction and social skills.

And the piano is an excellent choice because of its broad application of music fundamentals: melody, rhythm, harmony, expressive qualities- dynamics and articulation, colors and more. Any dedicated student can learn to play the piano, especially in the warm, healthy environment that fosters individuality, creativity and a love of music.
